I can't count on two hands the number of little old blue-haired ladies in Buicks that I almost T-boned when I first got my Virago in '81.
Nowadays, I assume that, as soon as I crank the motor, EVERYONE else on the road instantly becomes deaf, blind and stupid. Paranoia's a pretty healthy form of mental illness when you're riding, IMO.
